so the week started out on thursday the day off.... so i had an appointment at a performance shop that i ventured to.... they do my mounting and balancing... good shop the mounts and puts weights on and racing tape or foil... good stuff...
so they put my magnaflow 14829 in my mtech... looks good and theyre good for there work... if i have any issues theyll take care of it...
second they did my alignment.... i had a tow in my passenger rear tire.... but everything is like 1.5 degrees... alil tow but i think ill manage.... they also stuck my m5 sway so the total bill at the shop was 300

so went to a buddies i had all the stuff for my valve cover gasket that i had laying around.... so i decided to tackle it.... so got everything off... looked at my plugs filled with oil.... prolly cause they werent tightened to spec and they were the bosch +4... ill never go with them again.... so i put the vc gasket and new plugs and new seals for the bolts....
turned the car over weird vibration and baddd.... so i look the hose that vents oil from the vainos is off.... uh ohhh... turn the car off imedeatly and try to take out the lodged hose... and the plastic is so old it snaps offf.... uhggg
so i get some jb weld and some latex gloves and some duct tape... haha it held on till saturday
---****saturday****---
stop by bmw buy a new vent hose... 31 with my cca discount 21 at crown bmw but i needed it soooo
so i go back to my buddies house.... he wasnt home but his garage is always open for my use.... yes he is a good friend...lol well get going looking at how it goes in then i start taking things apart ie the intake....
so 2-3 hours into it i take the intake out... or partly out... i look at the cvv or ccv or pcv.. pressure regulating valve, crank case vent valve.... well i had codes on the engine....they were oxygen adaptation limits for all cylinders... well it was 4-5 codes on my peake tool... mind you ive been driving like this for months... which isnt good but i had no time really...
any way looking at the ccv valve the bottom line going from the pcv to the dipstick which connects to the oil pan was dissintagrated and broken up.... mind you that my car was from hawaii, it has 63k miles and its a 01.... but goodness hawaii weather isnt that bad.... well while pulling the hose off i broke the ccv in half... well needless to say after braking that in half i broke all the pipes trying to get them all off... so with all that heat under there everything turned brittle... so back to bmw of bellevue... to my luck they have everything... 107 in other pipes and a new cvv... then back to reassembly... so i go to put everything back with new cvv and all... then none of it is going back.... i realize i need to take the throttle body off... .uhhg.... lol but hey im learning where everything is... no i should have gotten a bently.... lol but anyway after 6hours of taking ish apart and puting all back together like humpty dumpty in 37 degree weather... no ses light and no more issues... honestly i dunno why i didnt do it sooner... cause i was getting the worst gas milage and oil was dripping everywhere... yeah so shes working real good and im glad i got alot of the work done... now i need to flush my tranny and oil and do a EMP stewart water pump.... when i was in highschool my pops would never let me take aart the cars... haha my 530i has taught me most people can do maintanace and fix most of the shiet thats wrong
well im gonna post up pics of the new exhaust.... its quiet cause i kept the resonators.... but it should get louder... really the sound of the i6 is louder than the exhaust but i had my fried rev it while i was behing the car .... and wow does it push air at 6-7000 rpms... my only description of it is if there was a diaper in the pipe.... poop would be all over the walls... hahaha sorry its all i could think of.... haha i realized i wrote a novel.... lol :buttrock

Yeah man, let me know when you guys do that, I should be available in the weekends mostly except when my wife has plans.

I haven't yet received the bumper, the seller has been *extremely* BUSY, which has been delayed for the last few weeks now, he supposed to ship it out the day before yesterday, Friday, and told me that he would give the status update but haven't heard since then Wed/Thur... :(

Hahaha, I'm in the process of getting some tools, I used to work my honda accord with buddy of mine who also had honda accord @ his uncle's house where all sorts of tools were available to use,,, we splited in opposite direction though, he went with Toyota Camry and I went with Bimmer :)

Thanks for the offer man.
I probably won't get the front lip, thought about it for few months but then decided to go with the 01+ front bumper instead, since it has a little but built-in lip compare to 97-00 front bumper.

Regarding to drop,,, I don't know man,,,, I have been talking about it to my wifey but she won't let me,,, I should show you my honda accord pictures, 4" off the ground :) my wifey who was gf at the time fawking hated it, hahahaha

Anyways, I probably have to focus on replacing the tires soon,,, they are getting pretty old..
