There is a guy selling scanned copies of Bentley manuals on eBay for e36 and older, but he hasn't got one done for e46 yet :(

You know if I had the manual, I would scan it and sell it to people on here. I wouldn't charge as much as the manual, but just a little amount you know for the CD or whatnot. Not sure on what type of copyright laws there are reagarding that though.

IIRC, there are pdf copies of the E36 version floating around .. not sure if that's legal either.

How much does it cost to buy. Maybe like $5 or $10 if there were enough people. I just would hate to get into trouble on this forum for doing such a thing.

I think it's more legal trouble that is of concern here.

But if an individual does produce an electronic copy for backup purposes, then I can't see any problem with that person sharing it privately as an electronic backup for people that have already paid for the manual. :awink :rolleyes :devillook


and if someone does make a pdf version then those requesting a backup copy from them should do so by PM and not on a public forum...
