Just swapped in a 3.38 LSD. No issues with this one. Never been to the drag strip. $400 plus shipping or best reasonable offer. PM me if interested.

Philip ptarditi 01-27-2008, 11:35 AM Any idea whether this will bolt up on an e36/5? pbonsalb 01-27-2008, 01:22 PM A 318ti uses a 168 diff. This is a 188 diff. Probably the subframes can be swapped so you can use a heavier duty diff like the 188, but I don't know for sure and would recommend against such a project unless you have so much power you need a stronger diff. ptarditi 01-27-2008, 01:27 PM Thanks, my hatch was smacked in the rear and it broke the housing (which is integral to the diff) and the auto trans mount, our body shop will tell me tomorrow if the car is still straight, so I was figuring if the car isn't a write-off, I would start by sticking in a LSD (as I was planning on adding more power) and sticking in a 5/6 speed. This seems like a logical place to start given the circumstances. ecks323is 02-06-2008, 03:34 PM still for sale? pbonsalb 02-06-2008, 04:29 PM Just sold it and forgot to edit this thread. Thanks for your inquiry, though. |
