I placed my order for a 2008 328i and it is currently being assembled. I forgot to add the automatic headlight controls as an option and was wondering if anyone knows if this is something the dealer can add after the fact? And if so, does anyone know what it would cost to do so?
thanks

If, by automatic headlight control, you mean the auto-on/off, then I believe it is standard. Am I wrong on this?

sorry, I was actually referring to the auto-dimming headlight feature which I assume automatically switches off your brights when it senses an oncoming car.

I don' think that's an option on the 3-series.

Are you talking about auto-leveling headlights?
Btw, it is not too late to change anything on a BMW order if it is not being built yet, and even if it is being built, some things can be changed depending where in the build process it is. Dealers usually use this to their advantage when someone orders a custom car close to something they had ordered themselves for the showroom, they just modify it on the fly and save $$ for a car sitting on the showroom floor.

I assume this option is available at where you live, is that correct? If the car is still in the factory being assembled, I am sure the dealer can make changes. If it is at the port then I don't think it's possible.
