thinking of an HID setup, bluish in the projectors and yellow in the fogs. maybe do something custom but also subtle.. not sure what. also not sure if i want angel eyes or not. seems to me that everyone has them these days.

It's lame to put blue coated 5w for city light, I find it unsuitable for german car especially on green color car.

Keep your lights color in neutral color, like white, or off-white, yellowish-white, or bluish-white.

Get yourself some HIDs and Angel Eyes...I found the Superwhite bulbs were really poor in terms of light output.

@ motorwerkz, they dont look lame.. im all against ricey/gay looking headlights. they look well on the car.

the 5w push ins are by the same company as the H1's i have in the projectors and are the best i have found, both for the H1's and push ins... and believe me i have tried plenty of bulbs/brands.

i have no head on pics of the lights but you can see the actual colour of the H1's in this pic. also if you look very closely you can just make out the darker blue of the push ins in the back of the light towards the middle.

the push ins are slightly more blue than the H1 bulbs. they work very well together. i tried just the H1's with the stock push ins but it still looked dated to me.. with these bulbs and the new glass/de-lensed projectors it looks very nice.

i want yellow fogs because i personally like the look (either yellow glass or yellow bulbs/HID's) and yellow works better in poor driving conditions and here in IRL we have loads seriously dodgy backroads, unmarked roads (no paint lines) and roads with no street lights, hills, humps, adverse camber, etc, etc.. you get the idea. mainly want the fogs for functionality, its just a bonus i happen to like the look of yellow fogs at night.

I really like that kit, I think I am going HID with the 35w KWD 6000K option, for now I think I am going to make an in Dash DVD a priority over this till spring though

My Sig has the headlights, highbeams, and fogs on. For City lights I am running an 8 LED bayonette unit. Gives a nice bluish white to match my 6000K HIDs

just get some cheap h1 bulbs, you wont need your high beams anymore except for flashing people
if you want to color match your highbeams you could get led bulbs, or put led city lights in the highbeams and it would look nice

In order for your angel eyes to be visible while your xenon is lit up, you need to do a little modification to the light box.

It used to have stealth bulbs that light up amber on all four corners plus in the sidemarkers. But, I just bought a new pair of smoked tails (OEM design) to replace the Depos. Turned out that these new tails have amber lenses on the signal light built-in (see pic pointed by the yellow arrow), but they are also a lot better than the all-smoked Depos in quality. I had to choose between stealth bulbs or OEM-look smoked tails with better quality. I chose the latter. So, just for the sake of matching, I put ambers back on all.

if you r going to do lighting do it right......hids angels and smokers!! i installed my angels myself along w the smokes and its simple if you kno how to work a screwdriver w some elbow grease....just remember you dont have to do it all at once, quality over quantity any day

the corners are perfect and the first set (non-depo) of smoked taillights that they sent me didn't work, and the next set (depo) worked perfect :)

I have yellow bulbs in my high beams. Puts out yellow light without the tint on the glass. But they look like parking lights beside the HIDs. That's how intense the light output of the HIDs are.

The Depo tails are satisfactory in quality and fitment but the TYCs that I got are better in both regards. The smoked tails that anthony914 had shown are also made by TYC. The only issue is, like what I said, there may be amber light covers in the signal lights that are permanent. It will be an issue if you would like to have stealth bulbs. Won't be an issue if you don't mind the egg yolk look. If you're the latter, I would recommend going with the TYCs. Otherwise, go with the Depos.

Another point that I have to make. Every Depo I had have moisture issues. I had to re-seal them with clear silicone. I installed the TYCs without re-sealing them and so far, I had no moisure issues.

Yes they do. I got them from abrahamsmotorsport, a sponsor of bf.c. Anthony has Depos. TYC & Depo are competitors in their field. TYC is way better in quality than Depos, based on my experience as I've had both. Even my front corners are TYCs. Way better in fit and quality than the several Depo corners I've had that had gone broken from moisture leaks (despite being re-sealed with clear silicone) and a couple that had literally flew off the car.
