Well this isn't exactly about my bmw. But everytime i start my bike my HID kicks on then it starts flickering and making noise and shit. then all of a sudden it turns on then off again and then it starts turning on and shit. Could this be a bad battery or what? maybe a bad ignitor? a bad ballast

Generally speaking,
Flickering is a sign of low voltage input to the ballast assembly. In addition, flickering over even a short period of time will ruin the ballast. So, even if you fix the low voltage issue you may still be stuck with a ballast that flickers until it finally craps out.

How do you have these HIDs wired? Relay?

yes usually w the flicker its the ballast....i have hids on my gsxr and actually had the ballast harneses to my windscreen subframe too tight that it cut off some flow to the wires! so double check all your wires have room to ''breathe'' and i would replace your ballast
