I just tried installing a Clarion DXZ745MP into my E36 today and I have come across some problems. When I went to listen to a CD, No sound came out. I had the same thing happen when I tried to listen to my iPod through the AUX input. The kicker is that the radio works fine. My GF also has the same radio in her car so I took out her deck and replaced it with the one that is going in my car and everything worked fine. Why can I not hear my CD's or my AUX input?

Wow... Remove the radio, on your harness connect the white and blue wire to the blue wire on the adapter harness.

Ok well I did what you suggested and it worked. I dont want to be ignorant about it so why is it that I needed to swap the two wires? I always thought that the white/blue goes to the white/blue? Im sure after you explain it to me Im gonna wanna kick myself in the ass but Id much rather be informed as to what I did wrong.

one is for the remote turn on for amps and the other is for the power antenna :)
