i am currently debating a x5 4.6is :evil2 or a porshce cayne turbo :devillook i like the x5 because i currently own one but the cayne is faster:dunno :bawl

Do they have a supercharger for the 4.6 yet? I know that AA is developing a supercharger kit for the 3.0, a supercharged 4.6 would be nice!

Yes,there is one that I know of.The owner is here in CA.WestFest III was a few weeks ago and it was there.The thing sounds amazing......I have pics but there too big to post and I don't know how to make them smaller to post them up.

They did a track comparison in some magazine with the Cayenne turbo. From what I remember lap times on that track were VERY similar to the E46 M3. :( Now If I can only remember which mag. that was

Dam that impressive my main question would be if the 4.6 s/c from ess will do the same or better for about 20grands less?

this is just me but i think modding suv's for speed is dumb, i'd rather just get a nice X5 and leave it how it is and spend all my money on a car and making it go fast

Cayenne is the FASTEST SUV ever made.......it also has 100+ more hps than the 4.6....

cayenne is my dream suv followed by the xc90...just posted this on another post..hehehe...

I agree with Katt, although it looks better than the new Lexus...the GX or something like that....

Cayenne is kinda ugly to me. From the specs, its realy fast. It is probably a better car overall but I can't get over the way it looks.

FX is better bang for the buck but its kinda ugly too.

X5 4.6is would be a good choice but can't match the Cayenne in many ways

I know someone who has a X5 4.6 in estrol blue, it's un-freakin- believable......I love it! But then again I know someone else with a Cayanne Turbo.....I've driven both, and I have to say the Porsche is simply amazing (scary kinda), but I love the looks of the X5 4.6 better.....just my $.02

I've seen a lot of Cayannes around here, in many colors, and its not my cup of tea. Although, there isn't much that differentiates the 4.6 from the others. Its a tough call.

I like that FX45 ... nice complement to an M Coupe

how about you get a mercedes g55 amg? just a thought.........it does a great job of towing my neighbors race cars
