Guten Abend.

I have a 2005 M3 convertible and want to get my IPOD configured in the cockpit to listen to the tunes I so deligently have downloaded.

I tried the Belkin garbage and took that back. I see where Bavarian Soundwerks (I think) has a kit that plugs into the CD exchanger?

Anyone who has had good success with a kit that allows for true sound? The dealer wants my firstborn to have a "technician" install. There's got to be a better way.

Thanks for the input.

The DICE module is fantastic. I got mine from Bavarian Soundwerks (gotta support my local sheriff) along with the 2.5 dock (http://www.2point5.com/) which makes for easy mounting and access.

My only issue is that depending on how long the car is off, the DICE module "forgets" what track it's on in a playlist/album/artist. It's guaranteed overnight and when I'm out and about, sometimes I come back and it picks right back up on the last song and sometimes not. Weighed against my whole music collection (as well as some friends') at my fingertips, that's a drop in the ocean, though.

+1 on the DICE kit along with the specdock. Pretty simple DIY and stealth install with the specdock. I added the dock after installing the DICE module. Works flawlessly in my '02 m3 vert.
