I've had my328i one year this month,and this is the first problem that I've had.
Tonight I pulled the windshield washer lever and nothing. No noise, no spray, no wiper activation. I've used the washer maybe four times at most. I don't have a low fluid warning light ,so I don't think the fluid is low.
Once ,when on a steep hill the low fluid light came on. It went out when the car leveled out,and it never came on again.
When the washerfluid is low,does the light remain on? Also if the system runs out of fluid does a safety shut off the pump?

The temps weren't below freezing when that happened were they?

my pump does not run when the temp gets to 2 deg f. of course my pump is 9 years old. bring the vehicle in so they can diag the problem. o

The first thing I would do is to fill your reservoir. Assuming you have fluid is not the way to go. Eliminate what you can, THEN call the dealer.
