Hi all just purchased an 2003/53 X5 Diesel Sport but I have a couple of questions.

I have not really had a chance to take my X5 for a drive due to work commitments until Sunday. With the engine warm I knocked it into Sport and put my foot down at 80 MPH it started to judder quite severely I eased off and it stopped I increased my speed again and it happened at about 90 MPH but nowhere near as bad? I decided to return home and tried again and apart from one jump it seemed OK? any Idea's I thought it was like a fuel starvation??

I can't seem to reset my fuel consumption on my computer? I've tried keeping the indicator arm switch held in but it does not reset I have not got sat nav so there is no screen on the computer I'm only getting 17MPG??

Service lights if the car has just been serviced should all the service lights be on or should all the service lights be off ??

Hope you can help?

Green service lights should all be ON if the service was just performed. They disappear one at a time until service is due, at which time the orange or red light will come on.

Your turn signal swwitch (with the reset button for the MPG indcator) may need to be replaced.

Further diag probably needed for the shuddering. Could be enigne related, may also be driveline related. Easy check would be to first off make sure that the CV boots on the front halfshafts aren't torn.
