I have 4 TRX wheels/tires from my '84-533 (E28) that I would like to sell
to an interested buyer who has a '89 E34-525. Does anyone know if these
wheels will fit his car or are they made specifically for the E28's??

They will fit but finding replacement tires for them is hard/expensive.

Yes if you like paying 200 dollars per tire for shitty tires.

Wow, thanks for the quick replys!
The difficulty in finding tires, and the cost, is why I've switched to 15" rims on my '84 533.
The buyer needs new tires/wheels for his son's car ............ I just wanted to make sure they're safe to use on his car!

You should make sure he knows about how pricey the TRX's are to replace. Mostly they are worth more as aluminum than as replacement wheels.

Also TRX tires haven't really kept up with technology - not good tires overall, esp. 390's...

Yep, he understood the 'problem' with them and he did buy them. The price was too good to turn down and he ended up with a set of practically new tires. Now his son has safer transportation to work. Their current tires were slick and showing metal.
They'll keep their old wheels to use when they're ready to buy new tires.

Thanks again for the help!
