I washed the engine today. After that, I started the car so the engine heat can dry things out in the engine bay. After about 15 minutes of drying time. I turned her off and vacuumed the inside of the car. While putting away the stuff I used, I started her up again and I have rough idle along with a CEL.
I did the stomp test and got 1222 code (O2 sensor out of range). Please shine some light on this new problem. Thanks.

You prob. wet one of the oxygen sensors. I would really stay away from washing these engines, there are too many sensors and electronics that are volnurable to getting wet and shorting out. If you really lke to was your engine bay on the other hand I would recommend waiting at least 20 min. before starting her up again. I usually like to blow away the dust first with compressed air and then hand detail the whole bay with a clean wet rag, it takes longer but the end results are better and I don't have to worry about shorts.

First drive the crap out the car to make ABSOLUTELY sure that everything is dry, then just clear the code. if it comes back you got a problem. if not then forget about it.:)

Washing the engine is perfectly fine, as long as you don't get too close with the pressure washer. The hood is not water tight, nor is the bottom of the engine compartment, therefore when it rains, your engine is going to get a little wet while you drive. I've never had a proble washing my engine.
I'd erase the code and see if it comes back on.
However, never let your engine run at idle speed for that long. This is covered in the owners manual. It's hard on the engine.

Sorry, I did not know...
I opened the plastic piece that covers the coils and it is soaking wet in in there. I drove her around and it appears that she is improving. Hopefully, she gives me no problems on the way to work tomorrow.

The water probably seeped under the cover and is in the spark plugs holes.
Pull the coils and dry up the water in the hole. Do not remove the spark plugs as the water will enter the cylinders.
You can blow the water out using compress air too.
I found the reason that it misses is the water probably routes the spark away from the plug to the boot and then the body.
Drive the car without the cover until it drys up completely.

When my upper radiator hose blew, it triggered an Engine Failsafe Program but it went away after a day. Car ran perfectly well. CEL, however, is emissions related...you may have some moisture in the MAF electonics.
