has anybody here fixed the actuator for it. When I bought it was like that, if the car is unlocked it wont open with the lever, I need to turn the door lock for the latch to release.
Is just annoying.

Also while searching back there I found the source of a rattle, some bolts had fallen off into the door.

yep and it most likely isn't the actuator at all.
either the wires going from 12+ to the switch, or the switch to the relay in the car to the right of the load floor or back from the relay to the motor... or the switch itself is unseated or has failed.
