I took the plunge and signed the papers for the 2006 325i I posted about earlier. It does have the HID lights, the hands free remote and maintenance until 12/09. One test drive and I was sold! I'm happy to finally be part of the bimmer family! Can't wait to take delivery in a few days!

mines just came in on tuesday.. i had to wait about a week.. and that was the longest week ever.. even had dreams about it lol

I'll throw my 2 cents in as well. I bought my first BMW in Germany in 1968, a 2002. I imported it to the USA when my tour was up and drove it until 1973. Last week I bought my second Bimmer, an 07 335i, MT, Premium, Sport, Cold, Comfort Access, and Sirius. I love it! I've had three BMW motorcycles between the cars and ride a 06 K1200GT now. I can't stop smiling.

Thanks everyone for all of your congratulatory responses, I feel very welcome. Unfortunately due to a death in the family I won't be taking delivery until Saturday the 26th, so I will take and post some pics of the newest addition as soon as possible. Thanks again.

Congrats man! Same here, when I got my car back in Feb 07, I felt the same way, and I was coming from a C-class mercedes, and let me tell you, I loved everything about the BMW, the handling, the steptronic transmission was amazing, and loved the xenon headlights... Plus the CPO warranty and up to 50k maintanance sold me. I handed in my C-class with my newly installed twin spoke AMG rims and to this day, couldnt be happier!! Now I recommend BMW to everyone I know!!!!

The warranty is what really sold me as I had heard that maintenance costs can be very high for Bimmers...but it is reassuring to know that at least for 4/50,000 I'm covered..
