I am listing this car for my mother in law......its a 1995 BMW 525i auto with 227,500 miles

She has had it since 1995, and its been maintained the whole time by certified independent bmw techs. So she really just wants it sold fast, and I am going to list it as $2500 , or best offer. The price is negotiable.

Here's the skinny:

-227,500 miles (a lot of commuting highway miles here)
-White, Automatic, tan interior
-oil changes every 3-4k by bmw techs.
-about 15000 miles ago she got in a small fender bender, so the passenger front fender was replaced, as well as the passenger front grill and headlights. The frame was not damaged and the car does not have a salvaged title.

Here is what is new/recently been replaced:
-new AC 30k ago
-new belts/hoses 5k ago
-new window motors/carriers (not sure what was replaced but most of the windows quit working and now they are all fixed)
-repaired both front seat motors/power adjustment equipment
-basically whenever something went wrong, it was brought to our independent bmw techs and they fixed it

Here is what I believe needs to be replaced:
-The front ball joints are going bad....they are not shot but it is now slightly noticable when going around slight corners

Everything else is in working order, the transmission works fine, engine pulls hard.....i think anyone on this forum knows that e34's are very long lasting/reliable
i'll be posting pics up soon, if you really want pics and they aren't up here yet, PM me
also, let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks!!

As long as you have such a good relationship with your BMW mech, have him estimate the price of this job. Also, could he give it a PPI to get that out of the way. I am an hour drive away from you. Little worried about the high miles, but exterior looks good. Need better pics.

i dont have any better pics at the moment....will try to get some soon
but rest assured there are no major body problems, but like any car with over 200k, the body is not flawless

i would have him estimate the cost of the repair, but honestly i just want to sell it without taking too much of my time (i'm a 4th year engineering student thats super busy right now) I am selling it for my mother in law and she really just needs the garage space
