well, its the M50 engine, so engine wise, anything for the 3 series should theoretically fit...

body kit selection, suspension components or interior is much more restricted

Plenty of suspension upgrades out there... Many springs and shock combos too choose from cheap KYB to Bilsteins to Konis then Vogtland, H&Rs, Meyle, and specials from Hartge, Dinan & Alpina. Pelican Auto, as mentioned, a great source as well. Bought a few things from them at very reasonable prices.

hey im looking for sick performance parts that make my car go faster like a body kit and maybe a spoiler if ther big enuf and maybe if u guys can show me a shift nob to improve my shifting speed thx. o btw i have an auto. new pedals 4 maximum grip? where can i get them. i wus told to get 4000k lighting but that's not a high enough number so can u find me 10000k?? need to be able see the cops when i'm speeding. i checked autozone and they had some sick performance parts for e34 but it was all higher end i think and out of my price range.

You're half-right.

You're missing the fact that the M50 is in so many E36 cars, plus it's in the same engine family as the S5x engines.

So S50 cams, 540 MAF, 19# injectors, and a custom tune are the way to go before engine swap and FI.

If you want to modify a BMW buy a 3 series, not the 5 series. 5 series are for old cogers or families.

21 here. I could have bought an E36 recently, but decided to get an E34 again instead. It's so much more rare that you see a nicely modified E34, and they are a nice practical size while still being somewhat tossable.

It looks like I might be picking up an e30 318 to add to the stable. There's nothing like a nice, light car that you can throw around and not give a damn about. That car will be for traveling back and forth to Boston, the friend I'm getting it from is building a twin turbo camaro and I'm going to help him out with it. Nice little 4 cylinder commuter. The e34 will never get the mileage I need to be able to make that trip affordable. At this rate, it's almost cheaper to take the train.
