Hey everyone, I just wanted to share with you guys, if you haven't already seen it, a tool from Bimmertools.com. It's in their "Specialty Tools" section".

It's a 32mm thin wrench that works as a tie rod removal tool and as a fan clutch tool. I just tested them on my Lemforder tie rods and they fit the inner hex perfectly. It's quite beefy and long enough to put a good amount of torque through it. Here it is:

Hope this helps someone who uses the search button. :rolleyes

I kid I kid. :)

Just bought a set from 6mm to 32mm at Harbour Freight for $20. Worked fine to loosen clutch fan on my 94 325. I wiped it clean and will return it for a refund. Cost....10 mins. of my time-ha!

Really? I've looked at Harbor Freight and didn't see a set like that. Dependent on the store I guess...:(

Oh well, it worked great today! Useful if some SOB wants to give you shit...*wack*:evil2
