Since everyone else is putting their cars up for sale, I figured I'd officially put my M5 on the market. Plus I want to put the 335 in the garage.

Details:
- 1991 BMW M5 (2/90 build - rare 4 seater vs. 5) meaning 1 of 495 US
- Alpine white/black
- 239k miles on body (head rebuilt @ 190k)
- Washed weekly, fully detailed monthly

Maintenance:
Radiator/cooling hoses (226k)
New battery (235k)
Coolant flush (226k)
Belts - 3 (228k)
Oil change every 3000 w/Mobil 1 15w50 synthetic
Air filter (233k)
Speed sensor (230k)
Trunk shocks (230k)
Valve adjustment (228k)
Valve covers painted (232k)
Hood/trunk resprayed (224k)
New emblems (224k)
OBC backlight/clips replaced (225k)
Lighters replaced (225k)
ALL rear suspension bushings (230k)
Various clips - engine, interior, etc. (233k) - no real need, just being anal
Throttle cables adjusted (234k)
Temperature sensor (237k)

Extra parts haven't gotten to:
Blower motor
S50B32 chain tensioner
Right rear door actuator

Work being done currently:
All 4 control arms
Rear trans seal
Engine mounts
Trans mounts
Pressure lines from the gear box to the p/s pump
Fuel filter

Mod List:
Dinan Chip (more top end oomph, raised redline)
Mark D'Sylvia EAT Chip (more practical mid-range power, stock redline)
OEM Euro 6-speed
Eisenmann 83mm exhaust

Exterior
Euro trim (front)
Euro clears (front/rear)
'93 M5 mirrors
’93 Throwing star system-II covers
'91 Throwing star system-I covers
Shadowline grill/trim
6000k Prolumen HIDs
35% tint (rear)
50% tint (front)

Suspension
Dinan Stage I suspension w/SLS delete (Bilstein/matched Dinan springs)
UUC Springs (uninstalled)
Hartge strut bar
15mm spacers (rear)
Polyurethane bushings (front)

Interior
M-tech II EvoIII Suede steering wheel
'93+ GE module (alters comfort functions, windshield wiper timing/pressure, one-touch down windows, interior light timing, etc.)
BMW E38 self-dimming rearview mirror

ICE
Alpine deck (w/ipod integration)
JL 500/1
Diamond audio 300.4 amp - uninstalled
Diamond audio S500 components (front) + tweeters/crossovers
Diamond audio S400 components (rear) + tweeters/crossovers - uninstalled
Diamond audio 12" D6 subwoofer

Issues:
1. Low beam error warning (from HIDs), nothing wrong
2. Driver's side bolster showing some age - easily cured with Leatherique
3. Rear parcel shelf becoming unglued/faded
4. Right rear door lock actuator broken
5. Front spoiler has small crack underneath (not noticable until up close)
6. Valve cover gasket leaks small bit of oil (nothing major and only worth dealing with when clutch goes)

---

For those who have seen the car (and know me) know that the car is in great shape I value E34s more than most other cars and have sought after the E34 M5 for years...and treated this example in a way reflective of that.

Asking $10,000 OBO. Steal it away from me before I change my mind :(

im in oak lawn and really like your car. i would love to find an old m5 like yours and i love the white. i am just concerned about the high mileage on the body. if its in the midwest, i always concern with salt and rust. i dont mind to buy high mileage cars when they are in climates that do not have any snow. any rust on this car? any pics of underneath the car? my email is mrgarciainc@yahoo.com if you can email me some more pics. thanks

there is only the beginnings (literally just the beginnings) of rust at the bottom of the doors...the most typical E34 cancer spot. there are no other spots of rust, however...(by the gas tank door especially, which is another common E34 spot). i dropped the car off at a body shop (A&L Autobody) when i was getting my rear suspension bushings/eisenmann installed and asked if it would be difficult to fix, but it was a general consensus that it wouldn't be since it was clearly on the surface and didn't have a chance to penetrate. at the same time, we did a walk through underneath the car...replaced all the exhaust hardware from front to back since i was already putting the exhaust on...and aside from the aforementioned leaks, there was nothing that struck them as issues. it also helps that i don't drive the car in the winter. :)

i cannot get pics immediately since the car is at another shop getting some bits taken care of, but let me know if you have any other questions! thanks for your interest!

Any interest in a partial trade for an 89 325i 4door bronzit..............needs paint job, the paint on the roof is messed up.

I would possibly pay in full as well.

I would be interested in a straight up purchase, I didnt think anyone would want the car anyways(gonna give it to my dad). Or I might track it.

If you would like to email me so we could talk easier, its Anthonyb711 at hotmail dot com. I cant PM yet I dont think.

I could possibly come up there soon to visit my buddies, and check out the car.
