Has anyone out there in BMW land ever replaced the door speakers with non BMW speakers? I got some Infinity speakers for Christmas and found out the hard way that the OEM speakers are a non standard size. I could just widen the midrange hole and screw them in but I don't want the screws showing in my door panels. The tweeters are no problem, I found an easy solution for that, I am just looking for ideas for the midranges. Also, does anyone know of a tutorial showing how to remove the factory amp?
