In the last few weeks, I've noticed a squeaky noise when I fire the car up cold. It never makes the noise at any other time during the day -- only cold.

At first I thought the noise was coming from my garage door, to the point I lubed the garage door! It's loud as hell for about 1-2 seconds. Then, nothing. Car runs/drives as fine as always.

I can't tell if it's belt noise or something else. It's almost time for Inspection II anyways...

Any idea what this is?

Belt slippage

Yeah, sounds normal.

They'll probably replace the tensioner and belt but it won't solve the "problem" for very long.

What's odd is the sound is exactly the same every time. It doesn't make the noise immediately on start-up -- the noise occurs about 10 seconds after start.
