I was wondering, if i was to make my own angel eyes; and install them on stock US BMW headlights, how would I make them stay in place? And also which wires would connect to the LEDs?

from my knowledge i dont think the US plastic face comes off but if it did you could probably use some sort of silicon glue to hold them in place and idk about the wires

Yeah, I always wondered how you did that. My friend made his own angel eyes for his Scion tC too. Neat stuff! :D

Use the CCFL lamps from computer case fans. They're the exact same thing and 1/4 the price, and then you still have some computer case fans to use for whatever you can dream up. I pulled the web hosting where the images were hosted, but I'll try to link them up again.

done it
deff not worth it

5 bucks for one white led (only ones that are bright enough)
3 bucks for wiring
1 buck for resistors
5 bucks for plastic rods
50 bucks total because you need 8 led's (2 for each ring)

and led's arent bright enough to see during the day, or with ur headlights on so its just not worth it.

I think you can buy them for like 90 or 100 new for bulbs and ballasts that's really the way to go.

not worth the money IMHO

a set of e36 angel eyes can be had on ebay for ~$70, go that route.

you're going to need glass headlights though, as the stock ones aren't meant to be opened. it is possible, however again not worth the $$$ or hassle by any means. believe me, we've all considered the same thing.
