Question is, whenever I turn them on. They go bright for a split second, then dim, then warm up.

Normal? I thought that was what killed HIDs. Would I need a new ballast to fix this before it's too late?

very normal, thats how they light and warm up.

Oh okay, just wanted to make sure they weren't going to die on me prematurely.

They have no labeling of any manufacturer.
