I installed these about a month or two ago and they are supposed to be 55w apexcone 8000ks. I think these don't look nearly as blueish as 8000k's are supposed to look, but either way the look a hell of a lot better than stock. what do you all think 8000k's? or closer to 6000k? maybe even 5k? thanks in advance for the opinions.

It is hard to say exactly(your picture isn't working either) but from one projector to the next they can sometimes change color on the output side.

Check your picture though so we can see :)

You need to post bigger pictures and take also take them at night for any of us to really help!

I noticed the same I thought they would look more blue but someone said If i got TSX setup the color would change a bit.

the higher the wattage the more washed out the color. its normal for 8k to look like 6

Here´s a pic of my 8000k.

They look whiter since they are much brighter. Leif at Apexcone said the 5 and 6k HIDs look like 4500k in 55w form.


Besides, it's a good thing. 8k HIDs are disgusting.

My 55w 8000k look like 6000k..

I like the look.
