What do I need to do to join? I've been thinking about getting to a meeting and getting together with some of you fine folks and going for a ride, but I don't know what y'all are all about. What do you do at meetings and what kind of events do you hold. You know, that kind of stuff. I've had a BMW for awhile but just not sure about joining a club of any sort. I don't want to pay dues to something that I'm not really going to be a part of that often. I just want some information. Thanks..

Hey Josh,

No need to join. To be apart of our chapter all you need to do is show up. No dues or fees of any kind. The only fee you pay is when you join the BMW CCA as a whole, but it is not required to be apart of our club. We have quite a few drives throughout the year and a few non-driving events as well. Our next meeting will be tommorrow and is at Chop House, right near Hamiltion Place. You should make it out to one as we have lots of great people in the club. www.choochoobimmers.org

I would love to make it out to the one tomorrow, but I probably won't be able to make it. I see your next one is Feb 19, I'll try to make it to that one. How will I know when your next drive is if I don't make it to a meeting before hand? I would love to meet some BMW enthusiasts here that actually enjoy driving instead of just looking at their cars. I'll keep my eyes peeled and watch this forum. Thanks for the invite.

The club sponsored drives are usually posted up on the website before hand, or check on here are there are a lot of locals some who are and aren't club members who get together for local drives.

That sounds good. As soon as I get my master cylinder fixed so I can actually stop when I want to, I would love to go for a drive somewhere. I've been wanting to do the monteagle run that y'all and the guys from Nashville did a couple months ago. It sounded like it was a good time.
