Thanks for the help with the image. The $20K includes the initial cost of the vehicle, as well as parts and labor. There is close to $10K in the engine and the headers are $1200 by themselves. Car was built by forum member C.Thurman.

Great car, very quick, handles like a race car. I've personly seen it keep up with a 2.5 stroker m-3 @ Road Atlanta and it's still agreat DD! If anyone has any questions about the build feel free to pm me.

What's this car capable of at Road Atlanta and with what goods (race tires, brakes, etc)?

Chris this was Scott Krissels car before Stephan bought it. I think Scott did something like a .43 on DOT slicks,Hawk blues and the mods listed above, like I said it's pretty quick. I just replaced t-belt,tensioner,water pump and the coolant hose's less than 5k ago!

I've got a call into Scott K on the above request, hopefully I'll have an answer to that ? by tomorrow. Also, the work CT is referring to was around 5K ago, just to clarify.

For anyone interested in this car, I was the previous owner of this car. It's an incredible car. For an E30 it has about everything that you would want for a dual purpose car. On the street people will frequently approach you and ask what size V8 is in it, at idle it sounds mean due to the size of the cam. It ran 1:44's at Road Atlanta on Toyo RA1's. It will pull a stock E36M3 on the back straight.

If you need to know anything else, ask away.

For the guy questioning the $20k invested, please find someone else's thread to shit on. If you don't have anything good/nice to say, may I suggest that you STFU.

Scott, thanks for the info and your, as expected, candidness. Ahhh, reminiscent of Ted's.

you said you have custom cut pistons... is it still stock compression?

Looks great. Any dyno numbers?

slowe75
02-27-2008, 09:32 AM
Brandon12V - no it is not stock compression, I'm not sure of the exact numbers, I think around 11.5:1. Scott or Chris, can you confirm?
PointMEby - I don't have dyno numbers, I would guess around 200 whp based on the way it runs with a stock e36m3.
