Well whoever this person was, I now have to hear my boss point and laugh at boosted bimmers.
He said and I quote:

"A 5.8 v8 Hemi will be quicker than an old 2.8 lump even with a turbo bolted on. Granted the 2.8 should be off the mark quicker, by the time I would be in 2nd gear range, the hemi would eat it and keep on going"

A bit about my boss, he's done several of the Brit style track days and owned an Elise, Subarus, track Bikes yadda yadda. I tried to get him to get a bimmer as his next car or fun car but he doesn't like them. Hopefully he gets something track worthy that can turn so I can have him come to autocross or HPDEs

Thanks to the looser in the 2.8 who it seems had an APC eletronic boost noise maker.

This took place on Windward parkway by the way and his car is a "Charger" not a "challenger" as the post says. Forgive me for my weak American car knowledge.

His car is the regular RT not an SRT-8

I am trying to get him to come to the March HPDE then again, I don't know if any fast FI bimmers will be out there.
