I finally ripped out the fiberglass, circa 1982 prefab shower in our guest room- what an eyesore.

Does anyone here have any experience with building a shower enclosure? I am thinking that I would rather just hire someone to build the shower, than try and do it myself.

We did a big custom tile shower with a wall that was single sheet of glass 7 feet by 8 feet. There were several contractors that did different parts of the work, but the glass was installed by atlhomecenter.com and they also will do complete bath renovations. We were very pleased with the work they did.
