So the engine is in the car, then I realised the engine was from a 320i 97 and therefore OBDII but the cars electric system is OBDI.

I´m thinking about changing all the sensors and electric system on the engine and get a 413 red label ECU and change it to OBDI.

I have some questions;

1. Is it possible to get the engine running without changing all the sensor, some easy way without all the trouble of changing it to OBDI.

2. If that isn't possible, from what OBDI engine can I use the electric system so all the sensors will fit my M52B20 OBDII engine.

3. ?Is it possible to just change the ECU to get the car running ?

I´m running out of luck and ideas and just don't know what to do.

the car is a 318i and was with the M40b18 4 cyl engine.

The engine cranks but no spark or fuel pressure.
