I just bought the same car except black with the grey/black interior for $21,900. I had to replace the brake pads and fresh oil and I was good to go. Your prospect does look to be in better condition than the one I purchased. Read on the M5 board and do some looking into the 2000 year and its weak spots. Be sure there aren't any ses lights on the dash either. Other than that these cars are crazy fun. Happy shopping. Black528i 01-13-2008, 10:04 AM CarMax does not sell salvaged cars. They will pull the CarFax for you as well. The only down side is that you cannot haggle them on the price. Good find but sort on the high side for cost. 540iman 01-13-2008, 10:47 AM Bought a 2000 jet black M5 with two tone aspen blue and black interior with 57K miles on it for $23.000. Clutch was a little soft so I replaced it and got a 38 month 48,000 mile extended warrantee bumper to bumper for just under that price-closer to 25.
