There's a nice deal on a Z4 roadster 3.0 6spd in my area. I know my M3 has more HP, but the Z4 is lighter. Anybody here ever own both of these cars?

View Full Version : How would a Z4 3.0 6spd compare to my E36 M3? Mtgman 01-12-2008, 10:55 PM There's a nice deal on a Z4 roadster 3.0 6spd in my area. While the thought of driving a sexy roadster appeals to me, I am an enthusiast by heart and will probably stay loyal to the letter M. Reggie123 01-13-2008, 10:14 AM i'm a bigger fan of the e36 m3. i have a z4. Ridgeway 01-13-2008, 07:17 PM both have their -'s & +'s i find the z4 to be more enthrallingto drive generally speaking the size of the car gives it a totally dif feel, whereas the m3 often only feels like a fast 3er that said i'm thinking of trading for another m (e46 this time though) kkelley 01-15-2008, 12:45 PM Not too much time behind the wheel of the 3.0i, but the 3.0si is definitely quicker, and handles sooooo much better. jarrow 01-15-2008, 02:27 PM I guess I'll go drive a Z4 3.0 and give my driving impression. M roadster! :p RobMCoupe 01-16-2008, 12:44 AM I driven Z4 3.0, Z3 Coupe, and Z4 M Coupe. The Z3 Coupe had subframe retrofit, H&R Sport Springs paired with Bilstein shocks, EIS CAI, SuperSprint, and Shark. It's not an M, but it gets close handling wise. The Z4 3.0 really handles well with good balance of power for most driving condition. Z4 M Coupe out shines them all. There is a different feeling behind the wheel of an M car. Stick with ///M. |
