I originally bought this BMW to do a full restoration. Unfortunately, I am in college and do not have the time. It runs well and starts w/ no problems! It has a manual transmission. Shifter is a little loose as usual, but shifting is very smooth. It has about 200k miles. Since it is 24 years old, it's by no means perfect. The car isn't expensive to fix, but it does require time, which is something that I don't have anymore.

Feel free to lowball. I need to get this out of my driveway as the homeowner's association claims I constantly work on it, even though I haven't touched it for the past year, and wants to file a lawsuit. Here is what I have done:

Fixed all dents/rust, etc, and painted car w/ silver enamel.

Replaced the warped bumper pieces

New exhaust system, New belts, NEW DISTRIBUTOR, Bosch Spark plug Wires, Iridium Plugs, Valve adjustment, painted valve cover, Oil change, New hood shock, Replaced Battery, Cleaned cold start valve, adjusted idle, treated fuel system w/ BG 44k, New Cone Air Filter, new pickup for the speedo, new wiper relay, replaced rear brakes

Interior: New shift boot, Repadded driver's seat, Extra padded seat cover, cleaned carpet, Pioneer Headunit and Speakers. I have a good dash w/ no cracks, but haven't put that in yet. It'll take u an hour to do at the most.

What still needs to be done: (You can get these parts at Crazy Ray's in Baltimore for a bargain) A little TLC here and there, Speedometer or Gauge cluster ($60 on this forum), Lenses for a few of the indicator lights ($5 each), put the grills and some body trim back on, replace glovebox ($10) Fix the wiper motor (I already have taken everything out besides the actual motor, so it'll be quick for you) ($12) and TO FIX AC: The problem is a cracked low pressure hose. Just replace the hose, get a new receiver ($17 at Pelican Parts) evacuate, and recharge. Everything else seems to work fine.

it's either getting rid of this for $500 or dealing with a lawsuit. I'll choose $500 in my pocket :)

hmm so it runs, 500 bucks seems like an exceptional deal to use this car as a shell for s52 swap. I mean people easily spend 2000-3000 on e30's just to just pull the motor anyways.

yup. it would make a perfect track car in addition to being a great candidate for a restoration. :) photos updated
