wow, you really need to search. this swap is so common.

A nice cheap swap with plenty of torque, 0-60 6.5secs(apx), 1/4 mile high 14's secs(apx).

Use an M30 from either a E34 or E32 as the sump an oil pump are the wronge way around from the E24/8.

Not the best engine for MPG but it's not bad for what it is.

The nose will seem heavy if you are used to a 4 pot E30 but if you are pulling a 6 pot out the car will feel just the same with an M30 fitted.
