Do I need a DIN mounting sleeve for an Alpine 7894 install?? I am gonna buy a HU from a guy who says he doesnt have the DIN mounting sleeve.. Do I need it? If so how much does it cost?

Also I currently have the stock c33 HU with the HK sound system in my 1998 E36 M3.

LOL, relax, take a deep breath and call that nearest Car Audio store.

You'll need an alpine 1 din mounting sleave, but it's no big deal. Many cars don't need a sleave so most shops have spares. They'll probably try to get you for $10-20 but, that's life in the big city.

BTW nice ride I've got a 99, but BIZARRELY my spare is the same type of wheel you have..

what wheels do you got on your 99? The LTWs?

UHM, truth be told, I'm not that much of Bimmer guy, so I can't say that I know the reference name for them... BUT I can say that they are 10 spoke twins that curve into the wheel
