I have this high RPM miss problem right at 4500rpm. Engine cuts/misfires/stumbles and briefly fires the MIL light. Peak Code Reader displays code 10 - crank sensor.
I replaced that sensor with a new one - cleared the code - still throws the code @ 4500rpm. No other codes. Rebooted the car's ECUs with no positive results.
If the (a) coil(s) were bad, wouldn't it throw those coil codes as well (All the coils read .8 on the ohm meter)? Same with knock sensors and fuel injectors? Right?
So this could only be:
Spark plugs
Fuel filters
what else?
