I just bought a 2004 525i with 100,000 miles on it. Since I use Castrol (GC) 0w-30 oil in my other cars, would this be a good oil for this car or should I use BMW 5w-30 oil? I cannot find out what was used in the car previously. I live in Illinois with mostly mild winters and hot summers.
