I had posted this in the cars for sale section but just realised it might fit beter here. I'm selling my great BMW track car. It's currently listed on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-3-Series-BMW-E36-325is-M3-Track-Car-Race-Car_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6007QQihZ010QQitemZ 200189660411QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I'd love for it to go to a board member.

Thanks,
Scott

Is it a legal IP car?

Can you shed some light on what it would take to make IP legal?

Easier to tell you what takes it out of IP. Headlight, underdrive pulleys (that's the easy stuff). Woodward column and all the wiring was taken out and the car was re-wired (the hard part).

Another good candidate for NASA GTSomething (3 probably) or SCCA ITE.

Hmm, have you got a dyno for it to determine where it would be for Nasa?

What class would it be in if it was to run at BMWCCA events?

I never had the car dyno'd. With not racing it the HP numbers weren't important to me. As I said in the ad I'm not sure where it fits in class wise.
The geometric patterns are the logo from my construction company. It used to also say "Guild Builders" but I took those letters off.
Thanks for the kind words.

With the shricks, it's most likely a GTS-3 car unless it's really heavy or really light. Those cams are actually probably the cams to have for GTS since they are a little more biased towards low end compared to outright HP numbers, so you can pull more weight and stay in GTS-3.

It looks to be a nice car at a good price (although someone should buy my car instead :) ).

Did it sell off of ebay? Or off this site here?
