I have always been an Audi fan ... and today is my first day of owning a BMW. I just bought a black 2005 545i with 13k miles.

Can anyone recommend the best rims and wheels to buy (size, brand, cost)? Pictures would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Rims are more of a personal taste, much like clothes.

Some ideas:

What kind of rims are these? Size? Does anyone have more suggestions? I really like the "deep dish" style rims.

I own an Alpine white 05 and looking for some great rims too. I have an E85 as well and think that the ASA zr2's are the best looking for that car. Anybody seen an 545i with the zr2's?

You are right. Great looking wheels. How on earth does one clean them? These and the 172 M wheels look like they would take constant labor to keep clean. Main reason I am hesitant to get a set.

WOW, those rims are cold. Quick question ... well two. What are the OEM specs on the e60s? I believe the hub size are 72.56, with 20 mm offsets. If that's the case, my 2nd questions is answered, will they fit on the e34?

Thanks!

Hello Paintballistic, my question was more general. Will OEM e60 rims fit on the e34? I believe the hub and offsets are the same. Looking to upgrade my rims and am considering the options. I do like the style 5's but would have to get hubcentric rings since they are from the e39 with the slightly larger hubs. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

go into the e34 section and ask cuz i myself are an e39 owner. there were style 5's made for the e34.
