as much as it pains me to get rid of my Bianca, it hurts even more to try harder to get rid of her. this car was my first BMW and it was what got me hooked. this is a pretty rare care because of some of the options. this car is already posted on here but i am reducing the price because i need they money. thats pretty much the only reason i am selling it to begin with. i have done nothing but care for this car since i got it in February of 2006.
i am a mechanic, cars are not only my hobby they are my life. i work on cars for a living, i am in college to become certified, so all the work i have done has been in a shop environment and professional quality.
i bought the car after my volvo 850 turbo became totaled in a head on collision (not caused by me). i purchased it with 138k miles on it. i was originally bought in georgia, and stayed its entire life in the south, so no built up salt to worry about. the woman i got it from traveled from asheville NC to atlanta georgia on a regular basis (she worked for the local government around here). the only reason she sold it to me was she needed an suv for the storage space for traveling. she had no kids, didnt smoke. i have never actually had a problem with the car. all the work i've done was just regular maintanence, and preparation for a track/show car conversion. i had big dreams of a full m3 conversion, throwing a turbo in there and what not. so everything i've done to it i did it with a large amount of horse power in mind.

the details:
White body
red and black interior
heated seats
power everything
CD player
sunroof
174,xxx miles
Automatic Trans, with sportmatic "manual" option
Inline 6cyl M50

the work:
new OEM muffler (over $800 bought at dealership!!)
new radiator
fail safe thermostat
new radiator hoses
aluminum thermostat housing
new ATE elliptical slotted rotors
new carbon metallic track pads
new valve cover gasket
new rear shock mounts
new denso iridium tipped spark plugs
new DOT 4 brake fluid conversion
K&N filter
custom painted engine and radiator covers
custom painted alternator duct
monroe shocks
new window regulator (drivers side)
new bushings in all the window components
clear corner lights (the factory come with it as well)
17" BBS multi-piece racing wheels (standard equipment on e39 540i sport package)

misc:
it does come with 24 bmw roadside assistance for the life of the vehicle (purchased with vehicle originally)
does have all the paper work, dealership sticker, warranty records, car fax, everything
ofcourse still has the full tool kit in the trunk
full size spare! not a dough nut, its exactly like the factory 15" wheels i have pictured below
one fog light is cracked

ok so you can see for a 92 its in amazing condition. no faded paint, no chipping clear coat, no majog body damage, no large chips. the only thing wrong with the body is where some one not very smart tried to break threw the sunroof and was unsuccessful (original owner) and a small dent above the drivers side tail light where the second owner backed into a small poll sticking out just enough in the exact right spot to hit the car. very small damage done, the paint has been smoothed around the edges to prevent further chipping

here is the modified air box. the front has been cut off to aloow much better air flow, plus draw air from the area underneath the headlight coming from the bumper. also retains the use of factory style filter, which currently is a life time use K&N. it really did make a difference you can feel
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e112/TheClaw555666/325i/101_1862.jpg

here is the interior. there are no tears in any of the leather. one seam on the drivers side has started to come out, you can some what see it in the pics. i kept the leather conditioned about once a week. i detailed this car very often, i am a neat freak and was obsessed with keeping everything perfect. the head liner is sagging, like with most e36s. and the front windows have had all the parts check and replace, they just need to be set back on track. i work on engines and just never tried my hand at this kinda stuff. i have all the trim rings around the door handles, and everything is original, not repainted or dyed. this is a very rare color option for early e36s from what i understand (the guys at the dealership were amazed to see it)

the cd player was specially picked out because of the red buttons to match the dash lights and all. its a jensen, it does have esp so it will never skip. xm ready, rca out puts, mp3, wma, fully loaded

the only reason it has so many miles is the previous owners travels to atlanta, and i used to work an hour and a half away from my home in a small town they call franklin. so it is all highway miles. very very dependable car. amazing power as well. the trans has had normal service, lucas treatment, never slipped or had any indication of any kind of problem, no hard shifts.

CHANGED!!!
Price:
$3800 with BBS wheels
$3200 with only the factory wheels SOLD!!!!!!!!!!

i dont even want to sell the car, but i need the money, and its just not practical to drive 2 of them around all the time. i spend more time with my M3, and it needs some repair, so my white beauty has to go. i'll be willing to work out any deal, i also have a set of 3.2L m3 headers as well if you would like those with the car. ask any questions, call me any time, i hate to loose the money by lowering the price but i have to sell this car! my loss is your gain!

come on people, i'm in need of some help

$3300 for the car with the factory wheels on it
$4000 for the car and the BBS wheels. these are original BMW wheels, not replicas

this car runs very strong, and is very dependable. its never actually broken down on me, all the work i just did by choice and preference. its a completely clean title and history, never been wrecked. it was completely inspected before sold to me by a BMW certified mechanic. since then my self and the shop i work with have tested ever aspect of this car, all the way down to compression testing every cylinder (all perfect by the way). and since i'm a mechanic, if theres anything you would like done to the car i would be more then happy to do it before the transfer, and i can deliver the car if you'd like.

for 2 years this car literally has been my life. i've spent all my time with it and all my money on it. but now i am engulfed in my M3, so its time to part with my baby. this is a great opportunity for some one to get a great car because a guy is down on his luck, my loss is your gain!

wait...did you name your car Bianca?

TheClaw555666
01-14-2008, 04:47 PM
haha, funny story. the lady i bought it from named it Bianca. i always wanted to re-name it cause i just didnt think it fit, but i never came up with a worthy name for it. i just always refer to her as my white lady or my baby.

How much do you want for the trflo and da rimz? either together or a piece.

TheClaw555666
01-16-2008, 02:51 AM
id rather sell the rims with the car. but if i sell the rims alone i'd ask a $1000. and i cant sell the tri-flo till i sell the car and buy my borla, but after i sell the car i'll take 300 for it

is there anywork to be done on it? i would like to buy it, but i want to buy a first car to learn how to do BMW work on

TheClaw555666
01-16-2008, 03:29 PM
this would be a great option for you then. theres not much that needs to be done, but what it does need is simple and easy to do yourself

the front windows need to be set back on track. i have put in a brand new regulator on the drivers side and new bushings on both sides, they just need the final step done.

literally the day that i put a for sale sign in the window the hood strut on the passenger side went out, i havent got around to ordering a new one, i was planning on doing that before the car changes hands.
Also note: this hood goes to the normal position, then can be stood strait up for more clearance to work on the engine.

it could use a set of rear shocks. that was the next thing i was going to replace if i was going to keep it. i already put in new rear shock mounts, and they are the upgraded ones. very easy afternoon project.

the headliner needs replaced, like on most e36's.

because of the over sized rims, it does need and alignment. the BBS wheels do need a new set of tires. of course if you put the factory wheels back on then no alignment is needed because thats what the car is set for. this is the only thing you might not be able to do around the house

so like i said, doesnt really need much. but theres enough to help you start learning. also because of the m50 platform that gives you many options as far as easy upgrades. 3.0 cams, or total 3.0 head, mustang injectors, v8 mass air flow, i've already got a set of the 3.2L headers to put on that i'll just throw in with the car.

i'm going out right now to take a video of the car starting and running, give a walk around and show that everything is fine and really how great of a car it is. i'm asking at least 3300 for the car alone, and 1000 for the wheels, so some one needs to take everything for 4000 and get a great deal on it. i have some people looking in my local area wanting to do payments and what not, so some one needs to snatch this great car up before its gone.

TheClaw555666

thanks man, i need some luck with it. just found out today my crankshaft position sensor in my m3 is dead, ugh. that, along with some new cooling system parts, a new set of tires, brakes, rear shocks, and a handful of various other items is why i need to sell this car so bad.

theres nothing keeping this car off the road but a driver, i used it as a daily driver up until i put the for sale sign in the window.

and if i keep it to much longer, with taxxes right around the corner i'm going to end up either swapping a m3 motor into it, or installing the 2.8l stroker kit, i'll do something radical with it if i keep it to much longer then i'll want way to much for it. its hurting me to let the car wheels and all go for 4000. but hell i'll take 3200 for the car by it self.

do what to the interior? thats factory colors, and thats the condition i got it in. in fact the all the leather is in better condition then when i got it because i condition it all the time and i'm super ocd about keeping everything perfect. the door panels look shiny cause i just cleaned them. so...fucough

the engine bay looks much better in person then in pics. it needs a good spray off. but it does look much better then just the plain jane dull black and silver. plus it matches the interior, you know, keep up the theme. i wouldnt waste the money for something like the same exact carbon fiber cover that 50 million other bmws have. ooo, i could have went ricer with it and painted it bright blue when nothing else about the car would match...or even chrome...there we go, i'm going out right now to get some chrome paint....

If you want to keep the car, then keep the red engine stuff, but if you want to sell it, you're better off bringing it as close to stock as possible.

well if any one that is actually interested in buying it would prefer something stock, then i'll give them the M POWER engine cover off of my 3.0 m3.

The reason why there are a million of the carbon fiber covers is because a million people like them. Not too many people care for the red paint, hence not too many people have it. The theme of the red in the car isn't a theme most people would want to keep, it is enough to deter most people from looking twice. Someone WILL come along and like though, eventually, or they will at least tolerate it. It may take a month or two, but you will eventually sell it.

what? do you people want blood with a car as well? jeez, its a freaking engine cover, a piece of plastic. most cars on the street dont have the luxury of having a clean looking engine bay.

i was browsing the forums the other day and say a pic of a guy with a m42 with the entire valve cover painted red. no one said shit about that. every one who has actually seen the car says its a nice touch. i've had alot of compliments on it. and for crying out loud i said if some one who wanted to buy it didnt want the red and black covers i'll give them my M Power stock engine cover. fuck
