Removed at 88k. Great upgrade for non-M models. This fits E36 BMWs. (92-99 3 series) I want $50:

I thought the M3 front sway bars mounted different than non M3s. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The endlinks are different.

They mount to the strut instead of the control arm. More leverage of the wheel on the bar, so they end up stiffer for the same thickness.

Does a 325is need M3 struts to mount these bars or is there some way to attach them to the stock 325 struts? I'm buying Bilstein struts and springs in a few weeks if that matters.

I am not sure, maybe someone else can chime in...

To mount them on a 325 I think you just need the 325 end links and not the m3's. No way to mount to the 325 struts unless you weld a bracket on as far as i know.

No you can use your 32x endlinks to attach them to the control arms. But the M3 front sway bar is smaller than the 32x version. An upgrade to the M3 sway bar is to use the 325 fronts. The rears are bigger though.

The stock 325 has a larger diameter, maybe not as strong but bigger.

Steel is steel. Diameter (inner and outer for a hollow bar) are the only important details besides lever arm.

well i got a 325 but put a a full m3 brake system on mine as well as my suspension which is H&R that came off an M3. With those sway bars it should bolt right up right???

Yes if the endlinks you use are from an M3. If not just buy the endlinks.

Thats assuming they're made with the same thickness as well (if they're hollow).
