Just about to order the Euro CSI side mirrors for the Beast and was hoping someone could double-check these part numbers for me:

mirrors 51 16 2 253 835/836
mirror glass 51 16 2 257 556/035
mirror side covers 51 11 2 253 001/002

I get very good pricing from my local dealer, but the catch (which I usually don't mind) is that I really need to provide my own part numbers-

Try searching under: realoem.com

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do

You can check there for all parts...

***Don't forget your looking for a European part***

Done that - it got a bit confusing when I tried to cross-reference that with some old posts I'd come across that listed the parts for a full CSI conversion. (That's where I got these numbers from)
Using realoem I get:
51162253831
51162253832
51162267191 (glass)
51162267224 (glass)
51161394107 x2 (drive-do I need this)
51321970785 (gasket)
51321970786 (gasket)

See my confusion? :) (Yes, I do confuse easily)

Just choose the options, Do you want Heated? Heated and Memory? These are euro mirros for the left hand drive, They are the correct part numbers.

***We get a Nice discount from the listed prices***

It's a cross reference, Showing that it will fit the Ci Model, There's one for each 8 series model to show the mirrrors are interchangeable. You notice there's less options?

No gasket listed - do we reuse what we already have?
No drive listed - ditto...

I think that's mostly what I'm getting at - exactly which parts do I reuse and which ones on the realoem page don't I need?

The link posted by Tonn seems to show the minimum needed as we would be re-using what we already have - am I high or correct? (or both?)

Memory motor and gasket are reuseable, I built one out of the mirror body and the glass only using the old parts from a standard dog ear mirror.

So to get m-mirrors you need to have all the parts in the link you posted not just the ones in the link I posted?
