After turning on the wipers on my 850i they swish back and forth about 10 times, then stop anywhere on the windshield. The wiper switch then does nothing until I turn the car off for a few minutes. Is this a bad relay or wiper motor brushes?

Fuse. #15 I think in the front Distribution Box.
