I was wondering if you guy's had any info on a challange I have. I have a 97 M3 with Koni SA's, Eibach springs, and adj lower control arms. I just replaced the LCB's with powerflex as well. My problem is my tires are still cupping on the inside. Could the Koni's (that I have set to full soft) be too soft and causing the cupping? I just got it alighned before the tires. The tire's were cupping even before all that. Any experience with this would help.
Thanks
Robert

How hard do you throw your car into turns? How often do you take on ramps and clover leafs as fast as you can? It might be the driver not the car. No offense or anything, I tend to be hard on tires myself...

I believe an incorrect toe setting will cause cupping on fronts. Maybe same on rear?

What kind of tires too? Knock-off brands, Kumhos, Goodyears and BFGs are prone to cupping especially if you are running a staggered setup and can't rotate them or if they are out of balance.

Well I live in Tucson where It is stoplight to stoplight. So no its not the driving. (I wish it was) Thanks for the reply.
Also as I read my post I didn't mention that it is the rears.

that has nothing to do with driving style

i had cupping on front tires and I believe it was due to blown struts/shocks.

Blown shocks and wrong camber settings. Try and get a spec sheet from your last alignment.

So no comment on the soft settings of the rear Koni SAs? (not all the way soft, 1/4 turn from btw)

My bad, not blown, too soft.
I could be wrong though.

still sounds like an alignment problem
