Guys, this may just be the catalyst we need to form a dedicated forum/discussion group to continue the great thing (group/club/online hub) we had going here. Lets talk about our options.

Here's what I'm thinkin. I'm a member of a local 2002 group that did this and it has worked out great. Check out their website just as an idea. http://www.rmbmw2002.com.

1. Forums can be created in several ways. There are hundreds of free sites out there that allow groups to create their own free forums. For a slightly better overall look, a little html knowledge, and a small web hosting fee, you can create something like the above link.

2. Blogs are another free service. Most are viewable by anyone, but you can set up member access to allow only members to post. The interface is different than a forum, but it can function the same. I personally love the Blog style even though it is a little less organized than a forum. Blogspot is my favorite, and that's after trying out about 10 different sites recently. They require little to no technical knowledge to set up.

I would like to see us as a group (Colorado Springs/Rocky Mountain Region/Colorado) come together and agree on a way-ahead. I can only speak for the Colorado Springs and a few Denver transferrees, but the existing situation won't work long term. Please post your thoughts to get this discussion going.

VR,
Michael

Nevermind, we're back up on BF.C as a sticky. This may be a good idea at some point in the future when the group becomes more organized, but for now I think we're fine.
