Is there any place to get a BMW style 188 wheel (or one that can be used with a spare tire with three other style 188 wheels) other than at a dealer? Even used? What would they cost? If used, how would one check if they are bent?

I called one dealer. They have 6 on back order with no expected delivery date. The cost is $375 for one. Yikes.

So I went looking on the internet.

Tire Rack does not have any that are even a close match.

I found one that is supposedly a style 188 OEM wheel for $169 This seems too cheap for an alloy wheel.

They do distinguish between wheels that are reproductions (OER) versus OEM. They have a lifetime defect warranty and a 30 day money back return if not used or even mounted subject to a 20% restocking fee.

I can't find them on reseller ratings. Has anyone dealt with them before?

Yes I saw that but I don't know if I should believe them.

Another question since I don't have my car yet - the style 188's that come on the 335xi coupe with the non-performance tire sport package - are they silver or chrome?

(I got the sports package for the seats, not the wheels/tires so I didn't pay close enough attention other than to look at the wheels to make sure they were reasonably pleasing looking ans functional - I think more spokes is better than fewer.)
