Darth Maul 04-14-2003, 07:27 PM Any Oregon guys in this forum, im from Salem/ORegon, just wondering what type of cars you guys got and mods? jayhudson 04-15-2003, 10:09 AM 97 M3/2, Cosmos, some mods, audio system, Grants Pass. Jay BackMarker 04-15-2003, 10:20 AM I'm from Salem. I'm down in south Salem but spend most of my time drving to Wilsonville for work. 400 miles a week on my 98 Estoril Blue M3! I saw your post last night but didn't have time to respond. I will keep an eye out for a black E36 4door with rims. Where in Salem are you at? andy aka "BackMarker" PDX M Coupe 04-15-2003, 05:44 PM Portland Here! I do lots of waving and light flashing, but have yet to find many enthusiasts that even recognize the car... -99 M coupe Darth Maul 04-15-2003, 08:15 PM Im in NE Salem, over by McKay High SChool and Albertsons, I saw you're estoril blue M3 yesterday when i was goin to get some burgers downtown, it was at some shop i think....i dunno what shop but i've been there before.....anyway that's a really nice car, i think it's yours, you have really dark window tinting rite??? BackMarker 04-15-2003, 08:24 PM Nope, different Estoril. I think I have seen the one you are talking about though. Click here (http://home.earthlink.net/~stone19/) for a cheezy little web page that I made last year. Gives you an idea of what the car looks like, at least from far away. I am going to redo it someday when I have the time. The page will probably go away soon because I just changed ISP's. I will keep my out for ya, andy nightshade000 04-16-2003, 02:39 PM  Portland/Beaverton here, 95 black 325i with almost no mods except the H&R cup kit because I lost my job a while back and I'm poor ;) Darth Maul 04-17-2003, 01:00 AM got any pics....post em here or email me at adub2003@yahoo.com Ty Vil 04-21-2003, 03:16 AM You guys should switch over to DTM Power we already have a pretty strong WA-OR crew. Darth Maul 04-22-2003, 04:43 PM was your car in a car show up in portland, oregon like a couple months ago, i saw some niice bimmers including a red one like yours and 2 black E-36's!??? Cone 04-23-2003, 12:07 AM Hey I represent Beaverton. I might have seen some of you, if anyone sees be honk at me or something, it seems like no one ever sees me either. funkmasta 04-23-2003, 12:12 AM Im in Lake Oswego we have some *fun* gatherings... I think we should have one this weekend, if you guys are interested, let me/us know. see ya Joe PDX M Coupe 04-23-2003, 12:13 AM I flashed someone near Murray that I thought was you, Cone...was it? Last week, maybe Tuesday? Cone 04-23-2003, 12:16 AM Well, if it wasn't a guy in a blue E30 M3 then it wasn't me. Seriously, you can't miss my car. You should be able to see it from a mile away. nightshade000 04-23-2003, 12:18 PM Cone: you have a blue e30 m3? I might have seen you every once in a while around tanasbourne area... funkmasta 04-23-2003, 12:22 PM blue huh? ;) Cone 04-23-2003, 05:35 PM Originally posted by nightshade000 Cone: you have a blue e30 m3? Darth Maul 04-24-2003, 04:35 PM Cone: what type of mods you got in you're M3, i've seen a similar E30 M3 likes yours, same color w/E-36 M3 and supercharger! it's niiice! show some pics....i wanna see.... Cone 04-24-2003, 04:43 PM Yeah, that car is tizight. As some people already know, I don't like the engine conversion, and a few other things on that car. But the color is kinda similar to mine. I don't have a lot of mods on my car, but here they are: 25mm brake master cylinder Hawk HPS pads Bimmerworld Backing plates ATE Super Blue K&N H&R springs Bilstien shocks Borla Exhaust Sparco seat (1) I know it sucks Some random stereo stuff Racing Dynamics 17X8 wheels Here's a link to my photo gallery on DTM. http://www.dtmpower.net/ppost2/showgallery.php?ppuser=339&cat=500&thumb=1 funkmasta 04-24-2003, 05:12 PM But I like the engine conversion!!! :) :) :) Darth Maul 04-25-2003, 12:49 AM I heard there's major street racing up in Portland, u guys ever race you're bimmers? Cruzmisl 04-25-2003, 03:42 AM I lived relatively close to the tanasbourne area, near Glencoe High School. Well, that's where my parents live.. I'm down in Eugene during the school year, and there are a lot of bimmers down here. funkmasta 04-25-2003, 05:46 AM The Portland racing scene is no comparison to the Seattle racing scene. Portland used to be bigger, but it died way way down when they opened PIR at night, and when the cops got way WAY strict. see ya Joe nightshade000 04-25-2003, 11:52 AM I'm personaly glad they opened PIR to night time racing. There's really no need to do it on the streets when we actualy have a legitimate track w/ timing equipment and light tree's available on the weekend nights so cheaply. We have so many dumb drivers around that can't handle their honda's ;) Crazy Dave 04-25-2003, 01:31 PM It is good they opened up PIR for night races...but I hear they can use a little work on that track. I never raced on it when I lived up there, cause i heard it sucked. I was always told, save your money for Woodburn! I did love goin out to the races every friday night tho. Ty Vil 04-25-2003, 03:20 PM Originally posted by Ton Loc was your car in a car show up in portland, oregon like a couple months ago, i saw some niice bimmers including a red one like yours and 2 black E-36's!??? Yea that was my car. Darth Maul 04-25-2003, 03:29 PM I thought so, you got a niice lookin M3, that car show was tiight i especially liked the 325is and the one w/the Z3 fenders! Cone 04-25-2003, 04:38 PM The purple one was Alex's car, he's on DTM a lot, and he makes some really nice videos. The black 325is was in Eurotuner this month. Darth Maul 04-25-2003, 06:09 PM Is there any other place to view the videos.....for DTM you have to pay $10 bucks atleast.....post some videos Darth Maul 04-26-2003, 02:25 AM Hey cone, i just realized that i have a dtmpower.net video that has your car in it, it's the Portland, Oregon meet......im 99.9% it's your car.......when is Oregon going to have another meet like that.....I'd love to be in one! Cone 04-27-2003, 07:46 PM Actually Alex's vids are free, go to www.snazzy.com to d/l them. My car was the one in that portland vid. It was before I got the Racing Dynamics. I like that vid. Darth Maul 04-28-2003, 03:05 PM When is there gonna be another portland meet.....when do those usually happen?? I'd be interested in attending one...looks like a helluva time! Cone 04-28-2003, 03:53 PM There's a guy on DTM that is planning one on May 18th. Drive across the toll bridge (75 cents) into Oregon. We may need to park on the street, so bring coins for the parking meters. Follow Halsey St and turn left into the McMennamin’s Edgefield Manor. The club has not made reservations at McMennamin’s, so dinner will be informal, and you can tour the winery and historic hotel later in the evening. Cone 05-02-2003, 12:50 PM My dad is setting that up. It's going to be all day, and there's a lot of driving. The only bad thing is that you can't drive fast, so don't think it's going to be like one of our DTM meets. PDX///M 05-02-2003, 03:51 PM Ya well I keep my fast driving to the track :) I guess that comes with age :( A cruise up through the gorge tomorrow should be nice. Hopefully some of this blue sky will stick around for tomorrow. Hell, I've never been to the Full Sail brewery so that is worth the trip alone!!!:D  Cone 05-02-2003, 04:34 PM It looks like the weather isn't going to be as nice actually. But maybe if we're lucky it won't rain at least. Dan337 05-27-2003, 06:55 PM I'm not only an Oregon lurker, but a vw owner.
