if so would i have to change engine mounts or transmisision to?
guage cluster swap to?

my 02 330xi sport is 5 speed. i would love to have a powerful awd bmw that would make a very nice sleeper.

if motor swap cant work. should i go with i/h/e or supercharger? i have 104,000 miles on the motor right now with it running great!! dont know how bad a supercharger would be on the internals with this mileage.

i have a 2000 civic si im probably going to sell this summer and put the money towards a 96-99 bmw m3 if i can afford the insurance. this is only a idea right now. hope everything works out.

thanks for any help.

Stick with the engine you have. You need a really well designed intake and exhaust system, and a computer reflash. OR if you want more power; a turbo kit or a supercharger and a reflash, I would not recommend any other form of fuel management unless you know exactly what you are doing and most dont. A simple reflash will be much much cheaper and run just like the car came stock with your upgrades. There are companies that will set you up with a data logger and give you like 3 flashes for roughly $600. An '02 may not need a data logger, Im not sure what all the stock computer stores.

DO THIS FIRST: Loose as much rotational weight as possible, get light 17in wheels, lighter brake rotors, lighter flywheel, lighter clutch/pressure plate assembly, and possibly pullies. Weight loss, especially anything that spins will make big differences in the way the car stops, accelerates, and handles. From stock form you can probably drop over 100lbs of rotational weight with no trouble. Do it all at once and you will be pleasantly surprised. I like to do all suspension upgrades first too. Its better to have a car that does everything well before you start adding stupid amounts of power.
