Popped the grill off, and as some1 mentioned there are 2 nutsholding 2 of the 3 posts pretty solid.

So, how (if @ all) are the nuts supposed to be removed? They didn't want to seem to budge w/a ratchet...do I just take a wrench & keep on turning? Or are the posts supposed just to slide past?

I noticed that on the new roundel the posts are not threaded for a nut.
The posts in the old/current roundel also don't seem to have original threads, but I can see that it's scraped away liek the nuts were screwed on...

I'm @ an impass...quite frustrating for what should be a simple fix.

They're a self threading speed nut that cut into the plastic posts.
They should just turn off... mine were pretty easy to remove.

The only obvious question is.....
Are you turning them the right way?

lol, fair question, yeah I'm turning the right way, they are just rather tight (much more than finger tight) so I guess I just wanted to double check before going @ it (any idea what mm the nut is?
I'll go give it another try, ty.

serenity now, ok all my wrenching has managed to do is make it seemingly worse, note the crack, the roundel will jiggle around but somehow i doubt it's b/c it's looswer :(

Sounds like they spun them on too tight & stipped it.
A speed nut when over tightened will sometimes cut a ring around the post, then it won't back off.

You may just have to snap them off.

After somebody tried to steal mine by prying, I had the same removal problem, so i just snapped mine off. On mine, I couldn't do any more damage than the kid/punk/scum/whatever did.

Did you have to get the bumper repainted?
