Hello all.

I'm going to buy these wheels today:

The ones on the picture in the top right. 450 w/ tires seems like a steal. So I'm guesing they're knockoffs. Will this pose any sort of safety hazard? All they poorly constructed?

Will they fit my 99 323i

I wouldn't buy without knowing the maker. It might seem like a steal, but if they bend easily, you will be kicking yourself in the ass later.

Yeah its pretty sketchy but anyhing will be better than my 15" steel wheels with busted hubcaps. Literally. For 450 it's a good deal. Do knockoffs tend to bend easily?

ask if theyre gravity casted or low pressure casted. if they can't answer that i'd suggest you not to buy em...if theyre gravity casted, i'd stay away from them since quality for them really isn't good (plus the fact that theyre too cheap)...

yes, you'll save now by getting a really good deal...but are you really willing to compromise your safety everytime you hit the road? and maybe also cost you later on...

p.s. not all knock offs are of bad quality though...there are knock offs that are actually produced with better quality than OEM.

I agree not all knockoffs are bad, but also too got to watch out for the weight, its been my experience that they a usually pretty heavy got a nice set of knockoffs on my mk3 supra and they weigh a lot more than the m contours that i have

They look like ADR wheels. I have no idea about how strong they are but they are being sold all over CA like ice cream. In my opinion anything with a universal mounting is one to stay away from. It screams to me mass produced for very little money for a whole lot of people.

Do whatever you want but I think if you spend some time looking aorund you will find some great oem wheels or something else for a good price too. Just my .02

I'd never buy this kind of shitty looking generic rim. For 450/500 you can find a set of used DS1s or contours, a much better buy IMO.

Not with tires. If I could, I would snatch them up.

Bears, I love your avatar. That is from 'The Girl Next Door' right? She was hot in that film.

There are plenty of rims around for good deals. Just be a little patient.
