I've been trying for 3 weeks (with little help from the dealer) to find a part number for my 7...I need to replace the small 1" tall ground effect/strip along the bottom of my doors. The service department has ordered 3 or 4 parts trying to id the strip, but always seem to come back with a gasket or clip...I'll try to attach a pic..not sure if i have enough posts to do that yet :)

I thought so, but when the dealer pulled the part, it wasn't the correct section...i'll try ordering this part number from them and see if it's the right one...everywhere else i tried came back with the gasket/seal along the bottom of the door. Thanks for your help/quick reply.

Oh, don't buy the parts that fit an '01, buy parts that fit a '98 ... and then send them to me and everyone will be happy.

I still need help...i used maximillian and realoem.com to check the part numbers again for this trim piece...I got the numbers and called my "parts guy"...She said they were gaskets!! Same thing the dealer told me...No one can id them, what the hell?? Lemme post another pic...

If you notice, number 8 is listed as a gasket, which is okay. It looks like you just need number 10, though.
